England face Argentina tonight knowing a victory will all but guarantee their place in the Women’s World Cup knockout stages.
Phil Neville’s Lionesses narrowly saw off Scotland in their opening clash, claiming a 2-1 victory over their old foes thanks to Ellen White’s winner.
They will now be eager to beat the South Americans this evening as a tough clash against former World Cup winners Japan awaits in their final round of group games.
But that might not be easy as Argentina held the Japanese to a goalless draw on Monday.
Neville’s side are among the favourite to claim World Cup glory in France but were sluggish in the Group D opener.
Steph Houghton and co will want to show their best against Argentina and get their tournament truly up and running.
This match – and every England and Scotland game this summer – will be live on talkSPORT and here’s how you can tune in.

England vs Argentina: What has been said?
Phil Neville: “The games that we’ve studied Argentina we don’t think we’ve seen them as organised and determined as they were against Japan [in Monday’s goalless draw].
“We’re under no illusions as to how tough this game will be. Man-to-man marking, aggressive and we need to show the same quality we did against Scotland to get a result.”
“We were planning to play against a team sitting back and defending a bit deeper than Scotland. They know they will be playing in tight spaces, limited room, and we’ve worked hard on our final third play in the last few days.
“They are strong defensively and it’s up to us to break that defence down. We know we must defend well as well – their two best players are attacking players.
“We must make sure our players in the final third are relaxed and free to express themselves.”
